It was a dark and stormy night...

Lately I've been wanting advice as a writer. Not the general stuff but the specific stuff you need when you are world building. Particularly, I wanted help with the science in my Science Fiction. I've had questions like this before:

How do you really build a space station?
Are alien-human hybrids really possible?
What's the science behind terraforming?
How are we ever going to colonize our solar system?

Part of me has secretly been hoping that someone would create a website or blog were I would have access to this kind of information. Then I found out today that my friend Krista also had a great idea for a blog. Offer common sense advice to new authors on the writing life style and the writing business, so that new authors can make the best decisions for their careers. She took that idea created "Writer in Residence". She didn't wait for someone else to do it.

So today I create this website with the intention of sharing my and other published author's research as well as interviewing experts in various fields. My hope is that eventually this will become a repository of knowledge to help all science fiction writers create the best and most accurate stories possible.

This is my hope. Care to come along?
